SUMMERSTAGE 2025

The 2025 season of Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage returns with more than 70 shows in 13 parks across all five boroughs of New York City!

For our 39th season, we’re featuring a long list of stars, taste-makers, and artists whose work defines our culture. Everything from salsa, jazz, hip-hop, indie-rock, dance, opera, pop, and soul will grace our stages, with a number of shows curated by some of the most unique and talented artistic minds of our day. Our season celebrates the diversity of our City, presenting emerging and well-known artists, genre-defining talents, powerhouse women, and international heavyweights.

We hope to see you for the opening night of our free series in Central Park with GRAMMY-winning jazz bassist, composer, and prolific talent Marcus Miller, known for his work with Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, Luther Vandross, and so many others. He’ll be joined by some of today’s freshest sounds out of the Big Easy – GRAMMY-winning Tank and The Bangas and brass ensemble The Soul Rebels – who will kick off this energetic party in the park as part of the Subaru Music Series.

See you in the parks!

Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage is one of New York’s most beloved, broadly accessible, free outdoor performing arts festivals. SummerStage annually presents more than 80 free and benefit performances in Central Park and neighborhood parks throughout the five boroughs reaching more than 220,000 fans. With diverse artists and performances in genres that represent the cultural fabric of New York City ranging from jazz, hip-hop, Latin, and global to indie and contemporary dance, SummerStage fills a vital niche in our City’s summer arts festival landscape. Since its inception nearly 40 years ago, more than seven million people from New York City and around the world have enjoyed SummerStage.

New York is the quintessential global city, and the place we have been proud to call home for almost four decades. SummerStage brings renowned artists and rising stars from around the world to local neighborhood parks, presenting distinctly New York genres — salsa, jazz, and hip-hop — alongside indie, reggae, Afrobeat, soul, modern dance, and much more. We turn local parks into dynamic and accessible performance spaces. There truly is no better place to experience music than amongst the trees in this iconic spot. Come watch a legendary artist or discover the performer you’ll love next!
