Interagency Task Force for Public Realm Private Partner Support Request for Proposal (RFP) for Facilitation Services

City Parks Foundation, in collaboration with the New York City Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations, is releasing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to solicit proposals from independent facilitators for a new interagency Task Force to support public realm partners. The purpose is to make New York City’s public realm more vibrant, accessible, and appealing by supporting public space and community partners in a more intentional, proactive, and equitable way, enabling partners to work more effectively and efficiently. It is important to note that empowering partners is meant to complement, not substitute for, adequate public investment and the City’s core responsibility for its public spaces.

The RFP available for download provides all context, requirements, and scoring criteria.

Proposers may ask questions about the RFP (use facilitator@cityparksfoundation.org for inquiries) up until Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 5pm. Responses will be shared on this RFP website if inquiries are relevant for all potential proposers.  A proposer conference call may be scheduled if CPF or DMO determine one is needed.  Proposers will be notified about details by email.

Submission deadline is Thursday, October 15, 2026, no later than 3PM Eastern Time.

Proposals must be submitted electronically to facilitator@cityparksfoundation.org
