The Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage Festival’s Central Park flagship venue is uniquely situated outdoors in a stunning location in the heart of Central Park at Rumsey Playfield, 72nd Street and Fifth Avenue. The venue is available for either fully private buyouts or you can rent one of the VIP spaces for smaller groups during one of our planned SummerStage concerts. The venue is available from late May to early October, rain or shine.
SummerStage in Central Park underwent an extensive $6 million upgrade in 2019, transforming the space into a state-of-the-art, seasonal concert facility. With a capacity of 5,000 and a fully built-out, production-ready stage, A/V package, VIP seating areas, and concessions booths, combined with our ability to provide you with check-in, sanitation, security, and permitting, there are few comparable outdoor NYC event experiences as memorable and as easy to facilitate.
