This supergroup brings together three innovative producers from around the country to perform live at SummerStage. Marc Rebillet gave new meaning to the term “bedroom producer” when he turned the camera on himself, improvising humorous songs made in his NYC apartment with a loop station, keyboard, vocals and percussion instruments, live-streamed on YouTube. Bass genius Brady Watt carved out a niche as one of the most recorded session players over the last decade or so, but he too came into his own on YouTube with his series Bass & Bars, in which he plays bass alongside rappers such as Warren G, Murs, Krayzie Bone, and Pharoahe Monch. They’re joined by their sonic predecessor in Gang Starr’s DJ Premier, the legendary DJ, producer, and MPC wizard, whose gifts for manipulating samples allowed him to craft a distinct sound and style recognizable the world over.
