Marcus Printup Quintet

In this second installment of the partnership with Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival and Times Square Alliance, we will celebrate the music of the beautiful musical relationship between Kenny Dorham and Charlie Parker featuring one of the Jazz at Lincoln Center’s longstanding and heralded orchestra members: Marcus Printup.  Marcus and his all-star band will revisit and explore songs recorded by Charlie Parker and Kenny Dorham on the Royal Roost sessions as well as a few compositions by Kenny Dorham.
