Update (8/31): Due to the likelihood of severe weather, Capital One City Parks Foundation SummerStage has rescheduled this show for Friday, October 1.

Please note: In response to the increasing spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant, SummerStage now requires all guests to show proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, in order to gain entry to our shows.

In order to attend Yo La Tengo, guests are required to have had their final dosage of the vaccine by September 17.

In addition, masks are required upon entry to the venue and strongly encouraged for all guests for the duration of the performance, as is physical distance. More information on acceptable documentation, mask guidelines, and other safety protocols can be found here.

SCHEDULE

5 PM – Doors

6 PM – Rooftop Films Summer Series Films (see below)

7 PM – Performance

New Jersey institution Yo La Tengo have been critical darlings since shortly after their formation in 1984. Over four decades, they have continually experimented with new ideas— unafraid to reimagine their sound from record to record across their 16-album discography. A mainstay of the New York City rock scene, they come to SummerStage with nothing to prove, but also years of experience in pleasing crowds, whether with original fan-favorites or cover songs by request. New Haven-based underground rock band Mountain Movers will open the show.
