Jonathan Toubin will also host his infamous $500 Dance Contest with his usual “distinguished panel of judges” including Cait O’Riordan (The Pogues), Jalelle Bunton (TV on the Radio), Natalia Garzon (aka DJ Heavy Flow), Ronaldo Domino, Erin Sheehy (NYNT Shadow Dancer), and WFMU’s DJ Todd-O-Phonic Todd. Participants can join the dance contest on-site at 7:15pm and compete to win $500, paid out to the winner that night.

For this show at SummerStage in Coney Island instead of the usual vinyl record format, the soul legends themselves make a rare New York appearance to sing their hits live and in person in front of an all-star 13-piece band.
