This showcase of Scandinavian singer-songwriters promises to fill the air in Central Park with stunning songs both soft and sweet. Norwegian Anna of the North, behind such hits as “Lovers” and “Dream Girl” has collaborated with artists like Tyler, The Creator, Frank Ocean, Lil Wayne, and Kali Uchis. Her signature blend of vulnerable lyrics, dreamy synths, and Scandinavian cool has carved out a unique space in the global pop landscape alongside her rich, captivating live performances. Sweden’s Sarah Klang makes guitar-based pop music with influences of Americana and country; her songs are rooted in tender stories about motherhood, maturation, and coming of age. One of Finland’s most exciting pop vocalists, Goldielocks, will open the evening.

Plus, don’t miss a special puppet show performance of Pippi Longstocking, courtesy of our CityParks Puppetmobile, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the beloved children’s classic.

This event is co-organized by the Consulates General of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden in New York and supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers + sponsors. Presented in partnership with Flow Festival, Øyafestivalen & Way Out West.

Generous private support for CityParks PuppetMobile is provided by the Connelly Foundation in memory of Judith Connelly Delouvrier and The Weininger Foundation. This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the Consulate General of Sweden in New York.
