Lucy Dacus has been hailed as one of her generation’s strongest songwriters; she balances a sardonic wit with the care and empathy of someone who’s seen a thing or two, but hasn’t completely lost themself to despair. She’s returning to SummerStage as a headliner, after supporting Mitski on her 2019 tour. She’s joined by Philadelphia indie rock stalwarts Hop Along, which began as a Frances Quinlan solo project but has grown to include their brother Mark Quinlan, Tyler Long, and fourth wave emo torchbearer Joe Reinhardt.
