Touring her acclaimed new record PRE PLEASURE, Australian singer-songwriter Julia Jacklin makes understated rock songs that pack a strong emotional heft. For this show in Central Park, she’s joined by an all-female lineup with Y La Bamba, the introspective bilingual folk project from Mexican-American singer-songwriter Luz Elena Mendoza; and Black Belt Eagle Scout, whose latest album The Land, the Water, the Sky revisits a trip to singer Katherine Paul’s ancestral land in the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community.
