We’re welcoming the legendary Kabaka Pyramid, a Rastafarian lyricist who fuses elements of reggae, hip-hop, and dancehall to create a unique sound, revolutionizing Jamaican music with conscious messages. His 2022 album The Kalling won the GRAMMY award for Best Reggae Album. This co-headline show also features rising star Lila Iké, whose powerful voice, lyrics, and stage presence have catapulted her to international fame and acclaim. Lila’s music blends reggae with soul, R&B, hip-hop, and dancehall, rooted in Jamaican authenticity. Lila’s highly anticipated debut album, Treasure Self Love, arrives on August 22nd. Both artists will be performing with their full live bands. Kabaka Pyramid and Lila Ike are joined by New York’s Reggae and Dancehall champions, Federation Sound, featuring Max Glazer, DJ Mace, and DJ Danglez, who will be opening the show with their trademark tropical sounds.
