For Family Day, SummerStage Anywhere brings three unique performers to help make family fun a learning experience. There’s an Afrobeat dance class led by Diddi Emah, a dancer, actor, and choreographer who has performed with the likes of Beyoncé, Usher, and Chaka Khan as well as international Afrobeat artists Davido, Wande Coal, and MC Galaxy. Classically trained hip-hop string duo Black Violin, who have performed with Alicia Keys, Alessia Cara, Lil Wayne and at President Obama’s inauguration, will perform.  As will the PuppetMobile, a traveling team of puppeteers that put on performances and puppet-making workshops in neighborhood parks, recreation centers and schools throughout New York City.
