Heading to the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival?  Come early and hear Abdias Armenteros and the New Jazz Underground playing outside the entrance to the Richard Rodgers Amphitheater on Mount Morris Park West and 122nd Street.  Armenteros is a tenor player from Florida and a recent graduate of the Juilliard School. The band will play from 4:30-6:00pm both August 28th and 29th.
