A trio of soca songstresses bring the sounds of Trinidad to SummerStage Anywhere. Nailah Blackman is the latest in a line of talented Trini musicians—starting with her grandfather Ras Shorty I, who reimagined calypso to create modern soca—infusing afrobeats and hip-hop with the sound that her family invented. She’s joined by veteran soca stars Nadia Batson and Patrice Roberts, rounding out an all-woman lineup sure to bring the energy of carnival to SummerStage.
