“The quintessential New York MC” (The FADER) first turned heads rocking Bobby Shmurda’s flow harder than he could on M.A The Mixtape, but by 2016 Young M.A had cracked both the Billboard charts and Forbes’ 30-under-30 list on the strength of the triple-platinum mega-hit, “OOOUUU.” Her latest hit—a remix of Blueface’s “Thotiana”—proves she’s “one of the boys” but still does their schtick better than they do. She is joined by NYC hip-hop figurehead and radio DJ, Funk Flex.
