This diverse showcase features The Teskey Brothers, a Soul band from Melbourne who channel Otis Redding & Curtis Mayfield into Motown laments with a Stax swagger; the first-ever U.S. show for incendiary hip-hop duo A.B. ORIGINAL, whose award-winning album Reclaim Australia was hailed as “raw, confronting and empowering”; San Cisco, a garage pop band from Fremantle with bright, catchy hooks; Tkay Maidza, the rapper, singer and songwriter from Adelaide, winner of Best Australian Act at the MTV European Music Awards whose explosive latest single features JPEGMAFIA; WAAX, the Brisbane 5-piece rock outfit whose hit single ‘Labrador’ dominated Aussie radio in 2018; and Hermitude, the production duo of Luke Dubs and El Gusto, whose LP HyperParadise beat out the likes of Flume and Tame Impala to win the Australian Music Prize in 2012.
