A scion of Jamaica’s most famous musical family, Skip Marley carries the legacy of his grandfather Bob Marley with him to Coney Island. Since making his debut on stage with his uncle Stephen Marley to sing Bob’s anthem to peace and unity “One Love,” he’s cut singles with Katy Perry, Popcaan, Major Lazer, and his uncle Damian Marley. His debut 2020 EP Higher Place was nominated for Best Reggae Album at the GRAMMYs; it featured collaborations with Rick Ross, Ari Lennox, and H.E.R., the latter of which was also up for Best R&B Song.
