Arlington "Ollie" Edinboro Playground - St. Nicholas Park
582-600 St. Nicholas Ave., Manhattan, 10030
This Black History Month come join Partnerships for Parks for a special It’s My Park service and learning day to highlight the trials and triumphs of the Black experience at parks in Harlem!
We will be starting the day at St. Nicholas Park’s Arlington “Ollie” Edinboro Playground at 11AM for a walking tour of notable sites, art works, and historic places in the community; making key stops along the way to reflect and learn more about the important African-American contributions that have made NYC thrive. The tour will culminate with a light clean-up at the newly renamed Langston Hughes Playground.
Space is limited; please email us at Rene.Cuenca@parks.nyc.gov if you are interested in joining. As this event includes a walking tour, make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Face coverings are required when volunteering.
