She’s best known for her 1978 chart-topping, GRAMMY®-winning, platinum disco single “I Will Survive,” but Gloria Gaynor’s career reflects a lifelong journey through music. Gloria’s voice became ubiquitous on the radio and in discos in the 1970s, culminating in a hit single that became a global anthem for all kinds of survivals. Gaynor shifted into making faith-based songs later in life, balancing R&B and electronic dance music with gospel sensibilities. A veteran of more than a dozen studio albums, Gloria released her latest, “TESTIMONY,” in 2019 which she co-wrote and recorded in Nashville, TN with a multi-GRAMMY® Award winning team of fellow songwriters, producers, musicians, and special guest vocalists. “TESTIMONY,” received two GRAMMY® nominations for Best Roots Gospel Album and for Best Gospel Performance / Song for Gloria’s duet with Yolanda Adams on the song, “Talkin’ ‘Bout Jesus.” Gaynor took home the Best Roots Gospel GRAMMY® at the 2020 Award Ceremony. Gloria also recently launched her Merch by Amazon Shop and her very own YouTube Channel which features many of her incredible vintage concert and TV performances plus new video content
