DJ and producer Joachim Garraud has established himself as a pillar of French electronic music over the past three decades, from early sets at the influential Paris club Le Boy to collaborations with the likes of David Bowie, David Guetta, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD), Kylie Minogue, and countless others. His latest collaborative project is with Marie Berson, a trained flutist who pivoted to a successful career as a singer and deep house DJ. Passi is a French-Congolese rapper who broke out in the mid-1990s with the group Ministère AMER and later as a solo artist and member of Bisso Na Bisso and Dis l’heure 2 zouk; he collaborated with Youssou N’Dour, Cheb Mami, and Congolese singer Papa Wemba on the anthem for the African Nations Cup tournament. Benabar is a singer-songwriter who has championed France’s “chanson réaliste” movement, writing vivid and literary depictions of contemporary French life informed by folk, jazz, and film. Rounding out the bill is Adele Castillon, a singer and actress formerly of the French pop duo Videoclub, she’s since gone solo with the singles “Rêve” and “Impala.”
