BUILD - PARTNERSHIPS FOR PARKS

GET SUPPORT FOR YOUR PARK

We work hand-in-hand with communities across the city to support our neighborhood green spaces. You can join a community group, create one of your own, design a publication or website, and much more. Our dedicated staff are here to support you every step of the way.

Community Engagement Coordinators (Formerly Known As Outreach Coordinators)

Want to start caring for your local park? You can join the efforts of a local community group or create one of your own! Our team of community engagement coordinators are here to help you get started on your idea, project, or vision by connecting you with the appropriate people and resources in your area. We work with hundreds of community groups who are actively engaged and invested in the care of neighborhood parks through beautification projects, community events, and advocating for the changes they want to see.

We help community groups dedicated to parks with group formation and structure, connecting to resources and opportunities, project planning support, navigating NYC Parks processes and City government, general goal setting, and much more.

FISCAL SPONSORSHIP

Through City Parks Foundation, we offer fiscal sponsorship to community groups supporting neighborhood parks and green spaces. Fiscal sponsorship allows community groups who do not have their 501c3 status to build their organizational and financial capacity without having to allocate the valuable time and resources required of a nonprofit organization. We are not accepting applications at this time.
