As Billie Jean King says, “These are the kids who live and breathe tennis, who, with your support, still hope for the chance to make their high school team or earn a college scholarship.”
While we were unable to hold our annual Tennis Benefit at the US Open last year due to the pandemic, our free CityParks Tennis program—the largest municipal tennis program in the country—still needs your support to continue serving NYC’s kids.
In spite of the challenges last summer, we remained determined to offer limited programs for kids to safely get out of the house and into our parks to play, compete, and learn. We restructured our CityParks Tennis program to follow all health and safety protocols and were able to offer hundreds of kids opportunities for match play and drills to hone skills and build competition endurance. We look forward to bringing this program back in even greater capacity this summer.
The impact of the virus on the communities we serve has made our free programs more important than ever. Please join Billie Jean King in support of City Parks Foundation—any amount will make a difference.
All gifts of $500 and above will receive recognition on our website.
