As Billie Jean King says, “These are the kids who live and breathe tennis, who, with your support, still hope for the chance to make their high school team or earn a college scholarship.” While we are unable to hold our annual Tennis Benefit at the US Open this year due to the pandemic, we still need your support to keep CityParks Tennis, the largest municipal tennis program in the country, free for all. In lieu of buying benefit tickets to attend the US Open this year, we ask that you make a contribution to support the development of our young players.
In spite of the challenges this summer, we remained determined to offer limited programs for kids to safely get out of the house and into our parks to play, compete, and learn. We restructured our CityParks Tennis program to follow all COVID-19 safety protocols and were able to offer hundreds of kids opportunities for match play and drills to hone skills and build competition endurance. We fully expect to be back at full capacity next summer.
The impact of the virus on the communities we serve has made our free programs more important than ever. Please join Billie Jean King in support of City Parks Foundation—any amount will make a difference.
All gifts of $500 and above will receive recognition on our website.
City Parks Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) organization.
No goods or services will be provided in exchange for your donation; gifts may be contributed through your Donor Advised Fund.
