SAFETY GUIDELINES

A SAFE SUMMERSTAGE EXPERIENCE

  • Face Coverings

Due to the ongoing risk of COVID-19 in our city, the continued use of masks in crowded settings is recommended. Masks are required inside the venue at all times.

  • Creating Social Distance

Your SummerStage experience has been modified to support social distancing guidelines during all events. This includes the creation of seated pod sections within the venue. Your ticket will indicate which Pod your seat is in. Once you are cleared through the ticket check station, you will be escorted to your pod. You and your party (up to 4 people max) must stay socially distant and keep at least 6 feet from other parties in the seating area and all other areas of the venue, including restroom lines. The pods and rows will be spaced out to help create distance.

  • Venue Entrance and Exit

For all events, you must enter the venue only using our 69th street and East Park Drive entrance. We ask that upon completion of the show you remain seated.

To exit, we will call parties by pod number. Your section’s usher will escort you and your section to the designated exit.

All entrance and exit protocols will be sent you to in the Know Before You Go email that you will receive the morning of your event.

  • Venue Sanitization

High-touch surfaces and common areas such as restrooms and seats will be cleaned and disinfected regularly in accordance with CDC guidelines.

  • Restrooms and Sanitization Stations

Each section of the venue has convenient access to designated restrooms. We ask that you use the restroom located closest to your section. Each restroom will feature touch-free fixtures for your safety, and they will be cleaned and sanitized for your visit to SummerStage. Additionally,  hand sanitizer dispensers will be located in various locations around the venue.

  • Food and Beverage Service

For safety, all pods will feature QR code decals at each seat to access our food and drink menu and to place cashless orders.

Food and beverage can be ordered in advance here as well.

To access the menu, scan the QR code with your smartphone (open the camera on your smartphone and point it at the code for recognition). Through your phone, you will be able to place an order and pay for it using a major credit card or Apple, Google, Android or Samsung pay.  Once ready, patrons will pick up their orders.

Guests must be 21+ and must show a current valid federal or state ID to buy alcoholic beverages. You can purchase up to two drinks at a time per ID. Servers delivering to the pod will ID the guests.

  • Touchless Experience

From digital ticketing to cashless concession payment and touch-free restroom fixtures, we are committed to providing a touchless experience for our guests. We have implemented these measures to keep guests and conditions in the venue as safe as possible.

  • Accessibility

Accessible entrance and exit points and seating are available for every event and will also require 6 feet of physical distancing between parties. Other protocols related to accessibility remain the same, which can be found on our Frequently Asked Questions page.

For more information on accessibility, please contact summerstage@cityparksfoundation.org.
