SUMMARY:(CANCELLED) It's My Park at Wolfe's Pond Park
DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled.  \nDIG+RIDE = FUN Join NYCMTB on the First Saturday of each month to help\, build\, ride\, and maintain the trails at Wolfe’s Pond park in Staten Island. Volunteers help conduct our monthly trail inspection\, perform routine maintenance tasks\, such as litter pickup raking\, erosion control(digging) and signage maintenance. Volunteer hours start at 9:00am rain or shine. Optional group off-road mountain bike ride at 12:30pm on the trails (The Route: mostly beginner friendly; Distance: ~7 miles). Both groups meet at the Maintenance Shop in the Main Parking lot at Wolfe’s Pond Park 475 Cornelia Ave Staten Island\, NY 10312 \nVolunteers should meet at the big parking lot outside the NYC Parks Department building. Please wear durable shoes: boots or sneakers. We will be walking along uneven terrain and shoes may get dirty. \nFor more information\, please email avril@nycmtb.org.
