ING Americas with Gerald Walker, CEO
We are proud to honor ING Americas with Gerald Walker, CEO, with the 2019 People & Parks Award for transforming our green spaces into dynamic and active community assets. For over 15 years, ING Americas has been a major supporter of our free sports and community building programs, keeping our city’s parks active and thriving. In addition to regularly beautifying our local parks across the city, ING has provided much needed funding to ensure that our sports programs remain free and open to youth, helping youngsters stay active and healthy. ING is a dedicated advocate for climate change, supporting and sustaining communities around the world. Under Walker’s leadership, ING has distinguished itself as a leader in sustainable finance.
This incredible evening under the stars in Central Park raises funds needed to support City Parks Foundation’s free arts, sports, education, and community-building programs held in neighborhood parks throughout NYC.
