DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled. \nCity Parks Foundation is celebrating the 80th anniversary of the world-renowned children’s story Pippi Longstocking by the legendary Swedish author Astrid Lindgren. To honor this milestone\, our traveling marionette theater\, the PuppetMobile\, will present Pippi\, a fresh retelling of the classic Swedish tale. \nThe production features nearly two dozen\, hand-made marionettes crafted by the expert puppeteers. In addition to the brilliant artistry of the production\, kids and families will enjoy the incredible adventures of quick-witted and super-strong Pippi as she overcomes bullies\, all while fending off unnecessary social conventions.
